3  Help Area / How To's / How To Post A Picture on: March 03, 2008, 01:21:04 pm
Here is where you can learn to post funny pictures. To post a picture you need to have an URL which is the site where it originates from. Pictures should be stored at an offsite location. I use

To post a picture, Gif, JPG click reply. Right above the where you would type are selections of actions you do on our website. To insert a picture click on the little picture, 4th over, on the bottom. In the area that says URL, delete that out and then paste yours, you are now ready to post, click post and your picture will be there.

If you would like to insert a hyperlink in the body of your text, this is how you do it.

First, go to the site you want to show us here. Hightlight the URL (thats the sites address) and copy it.

It will look like this a real site I hope...LOL)

Next click on the blue globe, second over from bottom left.

Put your cursor in the middle of the ][and right click to paste it.

It will look like this now. (BTW, that's me in the morning)
6  Help Area / How To's / How To Copy and Paste on: March 03, 2008, 01:14:32 pm
When you copy and paste something, you are actually putting it on your clipboard. It will stay there as long as you don't copy something else or shut down your computer.

How To Copy and Paste:
Take your mouse, and place your cursor at the beginning of the text in the box below, then click and hold the left mouse button, while pulling your mouse over the text. This should highlight the text. Now release the left mouse button. Now, with the cursor over the highlighted text, right click the mouse for options, and select 'copy'.

To Copy: Highlight an area, as shown above, then hold 'Ctrl' + 'C' (For Mac users 'Apple' + 'C').
To Paste: Click your mouse where you want the text pasted, and then hold 'Ctrl' + 'V' (For Mac users 'Apple' + 'S'.

How to store a picture at an offsite

In order for you to post pictures, GIFS,etc. you will have to store them on an offsite, I use

After you have created an account, you will have to create a file.

1. Sign on to Ripway
2.Click where it says to view files
3.Scroll down to where it says BROWSE, you have 6 you can use at one time, click BROWSE..that will take you to your computer files. Select what you want from your files by clicking once , then click open, then on the bottom, click UPLOAD.
3. Now you are ready to copy the URL for that PIC you just uploaded.
4.Come here and click on the small looking picture on the bottom row, take out the words URL and paste your URL to your picture.
5. Preview to check your post, if OK, click on post.
